Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP solutions, either at regional or global level
- Implement and maintain SAP modules for procurement and inventory management, ensuring seamless integration
- Design and configure SAP modules to meet business needs, ensuring scalability and alignment with best practices
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operations
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP modules, engaging with external support as needed
- Develop functional design specifications and coordinate change or project management activities
- Execute SAP customization, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Deliver 2nd level support (incident and problem management) and manage service requests, performing periodic monitoring of applications and interfaces
- Actively participate in service request management processes within your area of responsibility
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum 5–8 years’ proven experience in SAP service management or a similar role, preferably within a multinational environment with a strong customer- and service-oriented focus
- Proven experience in managing internal and external suppliers
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Relevant certifications in ITIL or equivalent experience in an ITIL environment
Skills and additional Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of SAP applications, modules, and integration processes, with hands-on experience in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other relevant platforms
- Good knowledge of GxP and SOX requirements, as well as CSV principles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to manage conflicts
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in German or another European language is a plus
