Purpose of the function
For our headquarter in Munich, we are seeking a motivated working student (m/f/d) with an interest in data engineering and software development to support the advancement of our data solutions within the Data Insight Team at Daiichi Sankyo. The ideal candidate will have solid skills in Python, SQL, and Streamlit, and will assist in developing user interfaces, integrating backend systems, and implementing new business requirements. An eagerness to learn about data products and how interactive applications support business conclusions is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and enhancement of data and software solutions under the guidance of experienced developers.
- Help design and develop a Streamlit-based user interface for internal users.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to integrate backend logic into the UI.
- Support in coordinating, implementing, and testing new business requirements and specific functionalities, and assist in managing user acceptance tests.
- Provide support in conducting ad-hoc analyses and other data-related challenges.
Education & Experience
- In the pursuit of university degree, preferably Masters in following: Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and terraform.
- Show us your git repo for extra points.
- Exposure to streamlit or docker through coursework or projects (is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of databases and data warehouses (familiarity with SQL).
- A keen interest in data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, data engineering, and software development.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills in a data engineering environment.
- Interest in agile methodologies and data-driven development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
- Proficiency in English (at least B2 level) and a willingness to enhance intercultural competence.
