Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic identification, prioritization, and management of Cooperative Groups, academic networks, and external scientific partnerships; act as the primary medical interface to advance high-priority collaborations.
- Own and advance the strategy for Cooperative Group and networked research collaborations in the assigned area, aligning initiatives with Global Oncology Medical Affairs and enterprise priorities.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Medical Affairs, Development, HEOR/RWE, and R&D to embed external collaborations into evidence generation strategies, medical plans, and clinical development objectives.
- Establish and operationalize collaboration frameworks, including prioritization, tiering, and governance, to maximize partnership value, enable effective decision-making, and ensure disciplined execution.
- Strategically plan and transparently communicate with regional/local medical teams to enable consistent engagement and partnership execution across geographies.
- Capture, synthesize, and translate partner insights to inform medical strategy, evidence priorities, and future collaboration opportunities.
- Ensure scientific rigor, feasibility, and alignment of collaboration-driven research with medical strategy and evidence generation priorities.
- Ensure compliant, high-quality execution of external collaborations across applicable policies, regulations, budget management and governance.
Qualifications
Education Qualifications
Advanced Medical Degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) required
Experience Qualifications
10 or More Years overall related experience required
4 or More Years Pharmaceutical Industry required
4 or More Years Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or external scientific collaboration required
4 or More Years Oncology therapeutic area required
7 or More Years Oncology therapeutic area preferred
4 or More Years Demonstrated ability to develop processes, frameworks, or new capabilities within a matrix organization preferred
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. International and domestic travel required

Salary Range:
USD$201,840.00 - USD$302,760.00
