Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess training needs and develop tailored training programs aligned with business objectives and product strategies. Work with regional, global and vendor counterparts to design engaging and impactful training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and other resources, to effectively communicate product information, disease state knowledge, selling techniques, and compliance guidelines. Prepare and implement Sales Team Onboarding and New Employee Training ProgramsConduct in-person and virtual training sessions for account managers, managers, and other stakeholders, utilizing various methodologies such as workshops, role-plays, and interactive simulations to ensure effective learning outcomes. Review and coach teams on a regular basis. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Continuously refine and enhance training content and delivery methods to optimize learning outcomes and address emerging needs. Create and define key metrics to evaluate current and on-going clinical knowledge in customer facing roles. Lead the development and execution of training plans for new product launches, ensuring that sales teams are fully prepared to effectively introduce and promote new oncology therapies to healthcare professionals. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices related to pharmaceutical sales training. Ensure that all training materials and activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Work closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other departments to align training initiatives with overall commercial strategies and foster a cohesive and integrated approach to product promotion and support. Implement a customer engagement model across the Business UnitChampion a Learning Culture across the Organization by leading through example, promoting learning reflection and open communication and encouraging skill development through access to resources and recognition of achievements. Integrating learning into workflows, providing mentorship, and empowering employees to take ownership of their development journey are essential strategies. By measuring learning impact and continually refining learning initiatives, the Training Manager will create an environment where employees feel supported, engaged, and motivated to continuously enhance their skills and knowledge, driving success and innovation in the dynamic field of oncology. Evaluate and manage relationships with external training vendors and agencies as needed, ensuring that external resources are effectively utilized and deliver high-quality training services. Prepare the annual budget to meet the training needs of field based employees. Continually look for more effective learning techniques and methodologies to ensure that the company can attract, develop and retain industry-leaders through all levels of the organizationCollaborate with the European Training Team to determine future needs for ‘ capabilities and skills’ for field based employees and localizing training from a Medical/Regulatory perspective. Spending a fixed portion of the month in the field accompanying the Sales Teams.

Responsible for ensuring all European training modules are localized from a Medical/Regulatory perspective, work with the European training team to determine future needs for “capabilities and skills” in field based employees.
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field advanced degree PreferredExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales training, with a focus on oncology products Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology platforms Preferred
Skills and additional Requirements
In-depth knowledge of oncology therapeutics, disease states, and treatment landscape.Proven track record of designing and delivering effective sales training programs, preferably in the oncology field.Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for pharmaceutical sales training.
