Job Summary

As Demand Planner this candidate is responsible for bridging the gap between financial forecast, Marketing, supply chain planning and data analytics. The role's focus is on improving demand accuracy, aligning demand and supply, and supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities and KPIs. Responsible for generating accurate demand forecasts and integrating them into the organization's supply and production planning process using SAP IBP for Demand and SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

Forecast Development & Alignment
  • Own creation, refinement, and alignment of the demand forecast.
  • Develop and maintain statistical forecasts using SAP IBP’s predictive analytics
  • Incorporate business intelligence, sales input, and market trends into forecasts
  • Prepare consensus forecasts and scenario modeling for management reviews
  • Coordinate forecast adjustments based on new indications, new product introductions, or lifecycle events
  • Monitor forecast accuracy metrics
Planning Integration & S&OP Support
  • Ensure forecast outputs are operationalized and aligned across stakeholders.
  • Manage and release forecast data from SAP IBP into SAP S/4HANA as Planned Independent Requirements (PIRs) for production planning
  • Participate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams in the monthly S&OP cycle by providing meaningful analytics and KPIs
Scenario Modeling & Decision Support
  • Support forward-looking analysis to inform supply and planning decisions.
  • Use IBP’s simulation tools to assess the impact of demand variations on supply chain performance
  • Support “what-if” analysis for production, capacity, and inventory decisions
Systems, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain system integrity and enhance planning processes through analytics and optimization.
  • Be the ERP SYSTEM SME to ensure accurate integration of data between SAP IBP and S4HANA
  • Identify continuous process improvement opportunities using IBP dashboards and real-time analytics
  • Support the automation and optimization of planning processes

Qualifications

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field required

Experience Qualifications
4 or More Years • Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics and KPI compilation required
1 or More Years • Hands-on experience with SAP IBP for Demand and integration with SAP S/4HANA preferred
1 or More Years • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to present to all levels of management preferred


Licenses Qualifications
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification Upon Hire preferred

Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Travel to alternate Daiichi Sankyo sites as well as various CMO's

Salary Range:

USD$99,200.00 - USD$148,800.00
