Job Summary
We are currently seeking an IT Risk & Security Governance Intern from June 2027 – May 2028. This position works for approximately 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
This internship will support multiple projects in IT Risk & Security Governance. Partnering with team members, the intern will gain experience and be assigned projects that include the following:

- Review alerts to determine impact to systems and employees and perform response tasks
- Perform analysis of a variety of data sets to investigate potentially malicious activity
- Review threat material to determine impact and actions
- Work closely with IT staff to work active incidents through to closure
- Review daily reports of phishing emails/locked accounts/potentially malicious activity
- Prepare cybersecurity awareness presentation material monthly
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (Junior or Senior) with coursework or have a strong background in the fields of Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems (or related fields).
Prior experience in a corporate business environment is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management skills are essential.
