Job Summary
This role serves as an analytical expert to the US Health Economics & Outcomes Research and Real-World Evidence function, supports scientifically rigorous outcomes research and development of materials for external dissemination to demonstrate the clinical and economic value of a medicines in real-world settings and ensuring treatments are cost-effective and have a positive impact on patient quality of life. This involves analyzing data to inform decisions about medical use, market access, and patient access.
Responsibilities
- Assess the strengths, challenges, health economic projections and outcomes needs of assigned tumor areas through various means, including but not limited to extraction of data gaps, collecting additional evidence from literature to support product value, and being an active participant in Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) across the US Medical Teams, and in conjunction with the Daiichi Sankyo US Business, and the Daiichi Sankyo Global IEP network.
- Lead the design and execution of the US HEOR & RWE strategy and evidence generation plan, and achieving planned forecast spend, including but not limited to managing healthcare databases of claims and electronic health records data, vendors, and ensuring compliance to contractual terms and data security requirements.
- Develop, review, and contribute toward the approval of the US HEOR & RWE study or model description, supporting and completing the relevant initiatives to fulfill the strategy, including
finalizing published materials such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and slides. This includes but is not limited to overseeing the development of protocol and statistical analysis plans for health outcomes and economic analyses to support pipeline and marketed products. - Regularly effectively communicate progress and results so that internal and external discussions are informative, motivating, and translatable to the Daiichi Sankyo US Business division. This includes but is not limited to analyzing results coherently for inclusion in clinical study reports, value dossiers and publications, and conducting post-hoc analyses of clinical data as necessary to develop value proposition for external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required and Master's Degree Advanced degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or comparable field preferred or PhD Advanced degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or comparable field preferred
Experience Qualifications
10 or More Years overall related work experience required
4 or More Years direct HEOR related experience required
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Salary Range:
USD$198,160.00 - USD$297,240.00
