Purpose of the function

Reporting directly to the Head of OVAP, the Senior OVAP Manager will lead and support the development and execution of market access, pricing and reimbursement strategies that maximize patient access and ensure sustainable value for Daiichi Sankyo's current and future oncology portfolio in Greece and Cyprus, ensuring alignment with local and global strategies. The job holder will also build trusted partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to shape the access environment, develop innovative access solutions and ensure successful execution of local market access strategies, while adhering with DS ethical standards and company procedures.This role involves establishing strong working relationships with Global and Local functions; Alliance partners when relevant and external partners to ensure Daiichi Sankyo GR will be recognized as a strong and credible partner in the field of Oncology.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or support pricing, reimbursement and access strategies including innovative payment schemes in alignment with Head of OVAP and global policies.
  • Ensure pricing inputs and assumptions are incorporated into the budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process.
  • Understand payers’ requirements and needs and build strong payer value communication based on clinical and health economic data, epidemiological studies, budget impact analyses to defend value of DS portfolio.
  • Execute / Oversee the preparation, submission, and follow-up of PandR process including local adaptation of global value dossiers, health economics materials, and pricing strategies and tactics for both Greece and Cyprus.
  • Execute needs assessment and contribute to the timely delivery of all data and RWE deliverables needed for HTA/pricing and reimbursement applications and negotiations with national bodies, if applicable.
  • Collaborate closely with local, regional, and global colleagues to ensure alignment on market access strategies.
  • Drive healthcare system partnerships and builds and maintains solid relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and communicate developments in the healthcare environment that may impact reimbursement and patient access and suggest strategic implications to DS portfolio for Greece and Cyprus.
  • Represent Daiichi Sankyo GR in industry working groups while adhering to company’s values and culture.

Education & Experience

  • University degree in economics, health sciences and/or master’s degree in economics, health economics/policy required.
  • 7+ years of relevant and demonstrable experience in a global pharmaceutical company in the areas of pricing, access, HEOR or healthcare policy.
  • Experience in Oncology is highly preferred.
